Many schools and teachers are responsible for RTI programs solely because of a district mandate, but aside from the fact that it is something they need to be doing, they often know little more about the implementation and necessities for succeeding with an RTI program.
In Reading Horizons upcoming webinar, “The Essential Components of an RTI Implementation,” presented by Dr. John E. McCook, teachers will learn the five implementation phases of a successful RTI program. Dr. McCook will also emphasize the components of an RTI program that are absolutely essential. McCook strongly believes that until teachers and districts understand that RTI is a philosophical change in teaching, not simply an add-on responsibility, RTI programs cannot be successful.
