While you’re swimming in chocolate, flowers, and romance, don’t forget to note that today, February 14, is Library Lovers Day. Now I need to point out that this is currently an Australian holiday but I think this is a day (or week or month) that we should adopt too.
Some of my earliest memories are of jumping up the steps into the bookmobile that stopped at our rural elementary school every two weeks. That’s where I first fell in love with Little House on the Prairie books and later on, romantic poetry.

- Visit your local and/or school library and thank the librarians
- Encourage friends and family members to read more by suggesting a great book
