Early Intervention To Reading Problems

by Christine

Response to Intervention is designed as an early intercession to prevent long-term academic failure.

RTI, or Response to Intervention, is generally depicted as a three-tiered model with progress frequently monitored so that instruction can be fine-tuned to meet a students' unique needs and learning style.

The right supplemental reading program can play a major role in each of the three Response to Intervention tiers, and, if used for all three tiers, can reinforce and strengthen a students' skills.

Understanding how to approach Response to Intervention is not always easy. You can make a difference for a child by involving every teacher in the cause.
