This Saturday, March 26, 2011, there will be a FREE workshop titled: “Literacy Strategies for Literacy Development.” The workshop will be held at Young Scholars Charter School located at 900 N, Marshall Street in Philadelphia, PA and will run from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. This workshop will cover the strategies taught in the Reading Horizons program which is successfully used to teach beginning and struggling readers, dyslexic students, special education students, ESL students, and adult learners. The program is also used in elementary schools as an RTI program and as the core reading curriculum in grades k-3.
