Quin is at 2011 ASCD Annual Conference and will be leading a practical approach to teaching reading, writing, spelling, and phonemic awareness-building skills at 1:30 P.M. in the Exhibit Level, Hall A, Room 3.
Learn phonetic decoding strategies through interactive reading activities and research, participants will take away practical ideas for equipping their struggling readers with the necessary skills to improve decoding, spelling, fluency, and literacy.
For those who aren’t in sunny California this weekend, there’s still an opportunity to learn these basic decoding strategies by taking the Reading Horizons Online Workshop for Teachers.
