  • Reverse Listening Cards. This kit contains 876 large-print Reverse Listening Cards that divide skills into smaller learning increments, have fewer words on each card, and have large print, making them easier for special needs students to read.

C850 - Little Books

The computer software refers to the Little Books for additional practice. The Little Books contain vocabulary-controlled stories and are designed to sequentially follow the phonics skills and Most Common Words taught in each section of the Discover Intensive Phonics for Yourself program. The Little Books are cleverly illustrated and provide an excellent opportunity for students to use and practice the phonics, grammar, and reading skills they have learned in each of the lessons. The set is color-coordinated with the section skills in the Teacher’s Manual. This supplement is a must for all elementary customers. (5.5 x 8.5 inches)

C625 - Student Workbook

The Reading Horizons Student Workbook was developed to provide reinforcement activities for students while in class or at home. Student Workbook activities provide a simple review of the skills taught and allow students to practice marking words, read passages that contain applicable text, and then apply the skill to see it used in context. This consumable workbook is correlated exactly with either the Reading Horizons software or direct instruction materials. Every lesson in the teacher materials references the applicable workbook activity.

C614 - English Language Enhancement

This booklet provides additional activities for ELL learners as they proceed through the Reading Horizons curriculum. It integrates vocabulary strategies, pronunciation practice, and a culture reference to expand the program’s usefulness for English language learners. This item is consumable.

C629 - Teacher Edition

The Reading Library books contain the passages that are presented in the Reading Horizons software library. The passages are leveled from 1st–12th grade and include graphics and comprehension questions. Book 1 includes passages that range from first to fourth grade, Book 2 fifth to sixth, and Book 3 seventh to twelfth.
